FAQ

Let's start with the super basics: WHAT DOES FAQ STAND FOR?
It stands for "Frequently Asked Questions".  In this section of the blog you will find answers to a variety of questions you might already have in mind. If you have a question that is not covered by this page, feel free to contact Kristy (mei.kristy@bcchsnyc.net) or Kristin (liang.kristin@bcchsnyc.net).

What makes BCCHS so special?
BCCHS is an honors high school which means that all it's courses are taught at the honors level. The courses at Baruch are definitely more rigorous than the average high school and in addition to that, we demand more. The passing grade at Baruch is a 70, other schools only require a 65.

Yes, everyone gets their own locker but you have to provide your own lock. Make sure to give your adviser your locker combination in case of an emergency. If you have an issue with your locker be sure to e-mail Ms. Perez.

How do I start a club?
In order to start a club, you must have at least 10 members. Create a sheet with your club description, at least 10 signatures, and find a teacher that has agreed to advise your club. After you make a deal with a teacher, you may propose your idea to the principal for approval!

We already have more than 30 members on our team. If you wish to be the newest addition then please e-mail a sample post to either mei.kristy@bcchsnyc.net or liang.kristin@bcchsnyc.net

Is there any way I can just write one post on the blog?
If that question isn't quite clear, I hope this answer is: We have something called the "one-time submissions."  If the name isn't obvious enough, it just means that you have something you suddenly want to add to this blog, however, you do not want to be a permanent member. Everyone's opinions deserve to be heard.
