"The Perks of Being a Wallflower" Movie Review

Three weeks ago, the film adaption of The Perks of Being a Wallflower was released in theaters.  The movie, which stars Logan Lerman and Emma Watson, follows the story of a boy named Charlie who is just starting high school and is seen as being shy and unpopular.  Soon he begins to make friends with two seniors Sam and Charlie who introduce him to a whole new world in his life.  As the movie progresses, it becomes more complex and dramatic to the audience.  This movie was funny, interesting, and sad at points, but it was incredibly enjoyable.

Having read the book and loved it, I had to see this movie!  It was such a great movie and every teenager can connect to the events that were shown in the movie.  The characters were complex and emotional.  While watching the movie, you can connect with a lot of obstacles the characters are going through.  The movie was not exactly like the book, but it did the book justice and it was just as great as the book.  Even if you haven’t read the book you should still go see it! If you are making a trip to the movie theaters, make sure to go and watch The Perks of Being a Wallflower.  You will not regret it!

Descriptions: This is new but if you like Toradora you should like this manga since it is very similar. So far there is 4 chapters from 0-3, also still ongoing. Kashiwada Naoki, the protagonist wants to hide the fact that he is an Otaku during his high school life and become a Riajuu with the help of Koigasaki Momo. Basically they’re going to help out each other with their own lovers. Takes long for updates depending on popularity but you should still try it out.

Clarissa Reads It All....

...Actually I don't. I have been an avid reader all my life, but my range in books is not that varied - I mostly stick to sci-fi/romance(ish). But i'll try to keep my lists of recommended books from falling into the same genre pit I've found myself in =P

The first manga post!

MAGI

Author/Illustrator: Ohtaka Shinobu

Genres: Action, Adventure, Comedy, Fantasy, Shounen, and a bit of Romance  

There are currently 127 Chapters and the 127^th chapter name is Ice Spear.

As you can tell from the title there is magic in this Manga and the protagonist is Aladdin. He is known as a Magi a magician who is loved by the magoi which is what they call their source of magic and is what guides them to their fates. Aladdin is on a journey meeting new friends and fighting the people who oppose the way of their fate.

There is going to be an anime release for this manga around October 7^th. Anime and Manga versions are usually different is some ways.
