Soccer (Girls and Boys)

Soccer season is coming to an end. The boys’ soccer team just had their last game on the 15th of October and the girls’ soccer team’s last game is on the 22nd of October. With a 5-5 record right now, we are in a crunch time to see if the girls team would make it to the play offs once again.
Starting off with only exactly 11 players to now 19, we improved a lot as a team. Despite the time and effort that we have to put into the sport, it always pays off at the end. We lose as a team and we win as a team. As long as we tried our hardest and pushed ourselves up and beyond.
There are times when we would hate going to practices, simply because we want to hang out with our friends. But there are other times when something funny would happen when we go to practice and make it enjoyable.
Being on sports team takes a lot of commitment and a lot of time but if you love the sport go for it. Being on two teams, both the girls’ soccer team and the girls’ basketball team, it is a lot of work but I love the rush during games and the fans cheering for us; it is what keeps me going. The excitement of that is the best. That is why it is so great to be on a sports team, or any team. You would build bonds with your teammates, make fun of each other, and even if something embarrassing happens, they would laugh it off or at each other. Go for it; don’t let anything hold you back from playing a sport you love.
