Instagram is an app created for smart phones is used to take or upload pictures and share them with the people that follow you. Instagram has a bunch of different filters from you to choose from for you to alter your photo. You can make your picture look really bright, dark, black and white or even vintage. Instagram has become increasingly popular in the past year or so. It’s a pretty entertaining app because you can take pictures of anything from the Christmas tree at Rockefeller to your iced latte from Starbucks. Instagram is filled with pictures from a variety of topics. It’s a great way to keep up with your friends and see what they’re up too. It’s basically a Facebook made up of pictures. You can also follow celebrities that you like which I love because you get to see what their interests are and it’s their own personal account so nothing has to be approved by their publicists and such. You can see the real person inside your idol and the way they express themselves. Don’t worry about creepers following you either, because you control who is allowed to follow you and view your photos with privacy settings. Overall Instagram is a great app to have.

Although recently instagram changed their policy. They will now use your photos, name, etc. and sell it in order to advertise and you will not get any part of the profit. They don't need your permission either. A lot of people believe that it was "instagram suicide". Just so everyone is aware since instagram is such a popular app and I enjoy it myself.
