We always assumed that Baruch was a safe place, much more secure than most schools because of the calm and friendly atmosphere. However, bad circumstances are able to tempt even the kindest people to do bad things.

There have been several cases where money has been stolen in gym class while bags were left in the locker room. These bags were left unattended because everyone knows that we go out to Madison Square Park for a nice jog. Most of these incidents seemed to have happened in the girls locker room.

The most recent: Katie lost 30 dollars today 3rd period (class 301). If you saw anything or have reason to suspect anyone, please say something!

And for everyone else, don't bring that wad of cash to school and be careful of your belongings!
